Om værket
A camel covered in dense neon pattern walks out of a grey storm, its rider sitting straight backed in monochrome, the only colour in the frame carried entirely on the animal.
The background was drained to almost nothing so the pattern has somewhere to land. Put this camel in a colourful desert and it disappears; put it in a storm with the colour switched off everywhere else and it becomes the only thing in the room worth looking at.
The rider stays grey on purpose. Two loud elements would fight, and the picture needs one still point to measure the noise against.
