Over dit werk
A woman sits with her eyes closed while concentric rings of light open outward from her chest, drawn in warm terracotta, cream and soft ochre.
The rings are the whole idea. They are not decoration and they are not a halo. They are what attention looks like when it stops chasing and starts widening, which is the only honest way to picture a breath that has gone all the way down.
We kept the palette earthbound on purpose. Most meditation art reaches for cold blues and purple mist, and it ends up looking like a poster for something rather than a place to rest your eyes. Terracotta and cream sit quietly on a wall and stay warm under lamp light, which is when most people actually meditate.
